Who we are
This site is operated by the artist Tsion Mehari from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Contact: see the contact page.
What we collect
- Contact form: name, email, subject, message — only when you submit a form to us.
- Newsletter: your email address, the date you subscribed, and whether you have unsubscribed.
- Analytics (only with your explicit consent): the page URL you viewed, an approximate device type, the referring website, and how long you spent on the page. No name, no IP address stored, no cross-site tracking, no advertising cookies.
Why we collect it
- To reply to your enquiries and arrange studio appointments.
- To send the occasional newsletter you signed up for.
- To understand which works visitors enjoy, so the artist can keep improving the site.

Analytics are collected only after you click "Accept" on the consent banner. You can change your mind at any time using the button below.

Your rights under Ethiopian law
Under the Personal Data Protection Proclamation No. 1321/2024 of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data (newsletter list, contact records).
- Withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.
- Lodge a complaint with the relevant data-protection authority.

How long we keep your data
Contact messages: up to 2 years. Newsletter records: until you unsubscribe, plus a minimal retention to honour the unsubscribe. Analytics events: up to 12 months in aggregate.
Where the data lives
Data is stored on the Lovable Cloud platform (Supabase infrastructure), which may host servers outside Ethiopia. Email sending (for the newsletter and notifications) uses the Lovable Emails service. These providers are bound by their own privacy commitments.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 14. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be announced on the home page.
